DESCRIPTION
ANTHILL is composed of 78,406 identical armed figures, each drawn individually over 90 consecutive days. From a distance, the work appears as a uniform grey surface, recalling the movement of an anthill. Only through close observation does the image reveal itself as a dense accumulation of human figures carrying weapons.
As repetition dissolves individual identities into a single visual field, the work questions how accumulation can alter perception. What would be disturbing as a single image gradually becomes texture through endless multiplication. The image ultimately confronts the viewer with the unsettling paradox that overwhelming quantity can render violence almost invisible.

Born and raised in the Po Valley, where corn fields have long shaped the surrounding landscape, the artist transforms a familiar horizon into a surface constructed through the repetition of 33,696 individual lines. What first appears as a simple textured field gradually reveals itself as the result of thousands of deliberate, identical gestures.
Rather than depicting a landscape, CORN FIELD reconstructs the experience of remembering one. The work suggests that memory is not preserved as a single image, but patiently rebuilt through countless small actions, where repetition becomes a quiet act of reconstruction.

Constructed through the repetition of 81,900 individually drawn dots over 60 consecutive days, GALAXY transforms a single gesture into the image of an infinite night sky. Variations in scale and density evoke the immeasurable complexity of the cosmos, where countless points of light emerge from darkness.
Balancing wonder with disorientation, the work reflects on the vastness of the universe and humanity’s place within it. What appears boundless is ultimately built from the patient accumulation of individual marks, inviting the viewer to experience immensity through the smallest possible gesture.
