Cycle II shifts the investigation from movement to impact.

The uninterrupted flow introduced in the first cycle no longer remains suspended in time; it reaches the surface with irreversible force. Broad downward brushstrokes continue to suggest the descent of existence, while deep incisions carve through both pigment and matter, transforming the gesture into a physical event rather than a representation.

The lower field, built from a dense layer of Caput Mortuum, no longer supports the figure but receives it. The bodies are not placed upon the surface; they are excavated into it, as though the material itself had preserved the memory of the collision. The image ceases to describe a fall and instead becomes its enduring trace.

Through erosion, incision and accumulation, the work no longer observes the passage of existence from a distance. It records the moment in which time leaves an irreversible mark upon matter.
